  I have a G5 Dual 2 running Tiger 10.4.4 with a Optical TOSlink cable running to my Logitech surround sound speakers, which works just fine.
  I just bought a second TOSlink cable for my DVD players output to my G5 Digital in-Optical digital-inport, here is the problem.
  I can see the blue dots moving on the Input level: or the VU’s a bouncing BUT I hear nothing coming back through my speakers. It is slected for Digital In – Optical digital-in port.

  Anyone else run into this problem?
