  Airport Express/AirTunes issues

  I’ll preface my question by saying, I am very familiar with Mac OS. I have a studio based around Final Cut Pro, and I have a small Airport network with 3 Macs.

  OK…so I bought an iMac for the house and bought AirTunes for the Living Room. Everything was fine the first day, but two days into using AirTunes the music started skipping and evenutally not playing at all.
  I did 4 or 5 “factory resets” to get it up again…repositioned the Airport Express. It would play great for 5 or 10 minutes and then skip again.

  My guess is some type of buffer issue??? but I can’t find any settings to change.

  Can someone give me some ideas for what I can do to get smooth prolonged playback using AirPort Express?
