  Tiger issue with apps

  Can anybody help?

  I just upgraded from 10.3.9 to Tiger and none of my apps open. Here’s my kit:

  g5 dual 2.5
  Tiger (just upgraded)
  FCP HD 4.5
  DVDSP 4
  Compressor 2
  AJA IO

  I edit mostly in uncompressed modes and this is very perplexing to say the least. Do I have to re-install all my apps?

  Yes, permissions were verified/repaired.

  Thanks in advance and all suggestions would be helpful. I am in a spot to get some work done….Gary

  What method did you choose for the upgrade?

  i.e archive and install

  Upgrade was by disc.

  however, in the meantime…

  I figured out what it was…firmware update to the external drive.
  All is well again…until the next thing!
