  • Reinstalling Safari without installing entire system?

How or can I install Safari off my Panther discs? I searched through books and on line and don’t find any file or option to do so on my system installation disc. My Safari seems to be corrupt. I get it to open but it just stays frozen.

Thank you. I suppose the same holds true for a corrrupt I-photo and any other system installaled applications?

No, because Safari is free but iPhoto is not free.

All the iLife programs (iDVD, iMovie, iPhoto, Garage Band) come in one package for $79. Every OS X DVD has the current version of iLife on it, but when a new version comes out you have to go out and buy it.

So if you have Tiger you get iLife 5 on it. But someone who’s still using Panther has iLive 4 and they’re expected to buy iLife 5 for $79. So that’s why they wouldn’t make an iPhoto download.
