  “KCHR resource not found” – no keyboard shortcuts!

  I get a warning when I start up After Effects: “KCHR resource not found, keyboard shortcuts disabled.” I just intsalled AE 6.5.1 on OSX “Tiger”. Could it be a system problem?

  Try going to your Preferences > International > Input Menu and changing the keyboard layout to U.S. Then restart After Effects. AE doesn’t like non-american keyboards for shortcuts.
