    Hello,

I know this question has already been discussed. But perhaps you can give me a few hints.
    First I work with 3.8, G5 2.0, SCSI Raid, Aja IO, FCP4.5
It’s a pretty good working environment.
Now, my plan is to take one of my hard discs, clean it, install Tiger, install the upgrade 4.1.
Then I want to install upgrade AjaIO, and the upgrade Production suite. Do I have to start from FCP3.0, then upgrade on 4.0, upgrade on 5.0 or can I just install production suite and tell them the ID Number from 3.0?

    Thanks,

    Rainer

    hello…

not something that people in this forum might know off of the top of their head – did you try the fcp forum?

From what I have read, you can just install the 5.0 suite and it will ask for your new serial number as well as your old from 3.0.

But as Curtis said, you probably need to ask the FCP experts in our FCP Forum. Our you can just try it and let us know how it turned out.

    Hi Kathlyn,

this is right. First you have to give the new number then the one from FCP3.
