  Loading the applications again for Tiger??

  I will be migrating to Tiger soon and I was wondering if I have to re-install all of my old applications from the original cd’s or can I just copy the applications I want from the old applications folder I created when I did a backup of my old system drive. Thanks, John

  My suggestion is to put a second SATA drive in your G5 and install everything to it from scratch while maintaing your previous environment for awhile to be safe. I would not recommend copying the Applications over… some will work fine, some won’t but safer to start froms scratch with a new OS.
