  Removing Startup Items

  I’m having trouble removing a start-up item (suitcase v.10) which is causing my newly installed OS10.4 to crash. I go to System Pref>Accounts>Startup but for some reason I can’t disable Suitcase. I click on the minus icon and nothing happens. Could someone please offer some advice on how to get rid of this?
