  Slow exectuion

  Hi there,

  I’ve posted this question in the After Effects forum but Ron Lindeboom suggested I pose the question to this forum too, as you may be able to help.

  Can anyone help with problems of running Javascript functions on Apple Macintosh?

  The Javascript app we’ve had written for AE runs fine on PC, but executes extremely slowly when run through AE on a Mac. Some people I’ve spoken to say that Javascript has historically been a little clunky on Apple Macintosh. The script completes it’s run in a matter of seconds on our PCs but is curently taking around 10 minutes to execute on our G5 workstations. I’ve tried two different Javascripts on two G5 workstations now. Both running After Effects 6.5. One running Tiger and the other running Panther 10.3.8 both systems behave identically slowly when running the Javascripts.

  Any ideas/hints, much appreciated.
