  quicktime pro update

  Does anybody know if the updating of current pro-versions to version 7 affects functionality in FCP or DVDSP??
  The updater says to get pro features after updating you have to buy a new license.

  There is high volume squealing all over the Net about the new QT7.
  It’s harmless.
  Or.
  It’s death.

  You must purchase a new Pro key or wait till your update for the Production Suite arrives.

  People are NOT happy with what happens to their systems after doing two silly things:
  Updating to QT7 in the middle of a project without doing a clone of their system
  and
  Updating to Tiger in the middle of a project without making a backup clone fo their system.

  Update at your peril.
