I don’t know if this is a OS problem or a Compressor problem but I am trying to compress some footage from FCP HD using OS 10.3.9 ,not Tiger, after about an hour or so the computer freezes and a bunch of words in white text over black come on the screen and the computer gets really noisy. Some of the words are:

    Backtrace
backtrace terminated-frame not mapped or invalid:oxFoa53D10

    Proceeding back via exception chain:

    Kernel version:
    Darwin kernel version 7.9.0

    Memory access exception (1,0,0)
    ethernet MAC address: 00;00;00;00;00;00

    Waiting for remote debugger connection:

This problem has happened before and I am trying to get to the bottom of the problem. I also ran two sets of tests to check the memory and everything checked out OK. I then repaired my permissions and tried Compressor again, this time a black haze encompased the screen about 30 minutes in and it told me to restart the computer. Thank you for any help you may be able to give me.
