  Importing DVCPRO HD footage into After Effects

  How do I get DVCPRO HD footage into After Effects. When I transfer the footage from the camera’s memory card it is ‘raw’ data. The data has been broken up into folders with extensions I don’t recognize (kind of like when you look at a DVD’s file structure on your computer). I imagine some kind of conversion needs to take place but I don’t want to compress the footage with lossy compression during the conversion. Advice?\

  I assume this card is P2? Here’s how to import assets in Panasonic P2 format.
