    Hi,

as in the title. I made a matte using roto brush tool, so I had 2 clips, one original and one with a mask. Then I applied twixtor pro on the original clip and set FG1 to the mask clip. What is wrong is that the mask don’t work. I change the view to FG1 twixtored and I see, depending on matte chan option:
    – red/blue/green : each fram is in different grayscale (but not only selection, whole frame)
    – alpha : frames comes as original
When I change view to BG twixtored I get black frames. What should I do? I tried to follow this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtOsELb-Cfg but don’t know what’s happening on 3:36.

I will be very thankful for any advice.

You need to pre-comp the layer that has the masks. Unfortunately, After Effects does not pass the proper alpha channel to Twixtor when the masking is done on another layer within the same comp.

Then, make sure to choose “Alpha” for the FG1 Mask Chan.

    Hopefully this helps,

Did you select the layer with matte and precompose (Layer|Pre-Compose)?
The alpha channel then should be fine
