    Hi,
    i’m making some test with twixtor.I applied slow motion effect using twixtor on a file recorded with canon 7d at 1/2000s , the speed setting is 15% and this is the result:

    How i can remove the strange issue on the fan blade ?

    Rotating blades (and car wheels rim is the same) are hard.

    * Would help a bit if it was framed so the blades never get cut off by the frame edges

    * Would work better if the blade RPM was lower to start

    * Maybe the only way to do something clean from that shot is to roto the blades (maybe two rotation cycles that you can then loop), like stabilize-lock the hand held shot to make roto easier, roto out the blades as if they were not cut out by the lamp in foreground, and apply Twixtor to the roto’d blades. It’s probably a job for Twixtor PRO as well, as you would really need a matte/layer for the top lamp as well.

    I will pop back if I have a better idea.

    Hi,
    you should recording video at 1280*720 50fps or 60fps for this.
