  Twixtor in FCP noob question

  Twixtor / FCP question.

  I’d like to slow down a few shots. The footage was shot at 24fps and I’d like it to look like it was shot between 500-1000 FPS.
  When I apply the plugin and adjust the “speed” slider in the filters tab (and then render) I always get the wrong portion of the clip.

  Are there any very clear step by step video tutorials that outline the process of slowing footage down with Twixtor in FCP ?

  You need to make sure there is a 100% speed keyframe at the frame before where you want to start the slowmo (or work in frame mode)

  Are you trimming the clip where Twixtor is applied? If so you need to watch this tutorial for a workaround that FCP requires (it’s a but in FCP not Twixtor!)
