    Hi,

I am trying to create a realistic looking drop shadow for some alphabet characters. I am animating the characters individually, so what i mean by ‘realistic’ is that when for example i animate my character to jump, the drop shadow should not follow the character, rather get samller on the floor. I hope what i’m trying to get at is clear.

    Thanks

For this, don’t use a drop-shadow effect. Use 3D letters and lights that cast “real” shadows.
