  creating overlapping light beams

  Hello – I was wondering if you of you AE geniuses could help me/point me in the direction of a good tutorial? I am trying to create an intro to a film where two light beams are appearing to be projected up onto a wall – they move around and eventually overlap to create a heart shape. (See image https://www.sherrydesign.co.uk/clients-folder/downloads/Untitled-1.jpg). Could someone give me some advice on how I would go about this in AE?

  Either use AE’s 3d space and spotlights or use CC Spotlight.

  For volumetric lights use regular AE lights in 3d space like it was suggested and apply Trapcode Lux on an adjustment layer on top of everything
