Loss of z-space when pre-composing layers
Hello,
I’m don’t understand this “Collapse Transformations-effect”.
I made a short presentation, https://vimeo.com/15409702 , if You look at the “egg rain” (begins at 07:00) it’s flat. When I animated the “egg rain” I put the eggs out in Z-space. Then i pre-composed the layers and put that “pre-composed egg rain composition” in to another composition, and I lost my Z-space/3D-space.
I read about the Collapse Transformation-function, I must confess that I didn’t get it…
What should I do to avoid the loss of Z-space when using pre-compose layers in other composition?
English is not my mother tongue, so when explanation get this complex I don’t understand too much after awhile..
I’m currently working on a project that would get devastating criticism if this happened.
Happy for answers!
