  Text Scale animator

  I have text characters animating with a range selector from 0-100%. Each character scales up in succession. Character 1 goes from 0-100% then character 2 goes from 0-100% and so on until the range selector completes it’s key frames. Fine.
  But I would like each successive character to start it’s scaling before the previous one is done.
  I just cant figure out how to do this. Any ideas? Thanks!

  You will need to animate the Range Selector’s Offset Property.

  Set Start to 0% and End to 100%. At the start of the animation, set Offset to -100% and set a keyframe. Move the Timeline Indicator to the desired time and change Offset’s value to 100%.

  Next, under the Advance Section of the Text Tool, change Shape to Ramp Down.

  In the future, you may want to use the COW’s search function and get a quicker answer. I’m pretty certain we’ve gone through this a while ago.

  Cool! I forgot that you were going from 0-100%.

  Here’s another tip, if you set Ease High to -100%, you’ll have a nice ease-in effect.
