Controlling overlap in Shape Layers
I’m just curious, is there anyway to get the behaviour I’ve Photoshopped on the right side of the image below? It’s a stroked shape layer in After Effects with a Dash and Gap (+OuterGlow). Some reason, if your path overlaps itself it kind of loses the dash and gap. I wish it wouldn’t do this. Otherwise I have to create an extra shape for just that part, which means writing a bunch of expressions to control any animation I do with the original shape.
Any ideas? Thanks a million friends.
