  XA-30 IR Without Hane

  Hi all,

  I’m looking at getting the XA-30 and was just wondering, can you use IR mode without the handle being attached, using an external IR light rather than the one in the handle?

  The manual does not categorically say you do need the handle, but the handle houses the “built in” IR light and wondered if you be fitted to activate the function.
