  Files split by Canon

  Using a canon xa30 and it splits the files at 4G. When I import into Final Cut Pro and piece them together on the timeline, there is a slight blip in audio. Are there any ways around this?

  Hi Mandy

  The files need to be ”linked”. For this, Canon has a utility that does just that. You will still have separate files but linked together. I’m almost sure it will work for you even if you are not working with an XF series camera. Happy shooting !.
