  C300 Mkii Resets itself when I change batteries?

  I just received my new C300 MKii and when I first turned the camera on it asked me to set the date and time. Pretty typical. I set all my preferences and everything seemed to be working just fine, but I’ve turned it off and on a few times since then and the camera has reset itself about 4 times. It seems like every time I change the battery it does it? But I’m not quite sure what’s going on. Does anyone have any ideas as to 1. how to stop this from happening as it resets all my user settings when it does this, and 2. why it would do this in the first place???

  Have you inserted the small flat round battery in the camera? If so it maybe dead, if it’s resetting all the time.

  Yiu need to install the little round Lithium Ion battery in the bottom of the camera body. This is covered in the manual.
