  XA20’s time code not being recognized by Premiere 5.5

  It’s never come up before but now it is an issue. No matter how I set the TC in the Canon XA20, when I bring them into Premiere 5.5, they don’t read correctly. All clips start from 00:00:00 no matter what the camera settings. Ideas on correcting this? Thanks

  Selfie Reply – I was not importing the entire AVCHD folder. You can import clip by clip but the time code will revert to 00:00:00 for each clip. If you need real time code, bring the entire folder in.
