Several times now after a shoot with my C300PL, I will have a card that becomes unusable.

Fortuantely we have not lost any footage, because we always shoot double cards, AND the cards seem to go corrupt AFTER we have extracted the (perefectly fine) footage from them.

After that, the cards will no longer initialize in the camera (we just get some kind of warning that it can’t be initialized), NOR can they be wiped or reformatted on a computer.

This is getting a bit frustrating, and expensive, considering the cards are about 90 bucks a pop.

We’re using the recommended SanDisck Extreme 16GB 60MB/s cards.

Any one have any thoughts or similar experiences?

    Much thanks,

    T2

    Hi Todd,

My c300 has been doing the same thing. I sent it back to Canon and they replaced both the cameras CF card slots at a cost to me of a little over $500. However it seems to be doing the same thing again 2nd job back.

Did you have any luck resolving the issue??

    Jordan
