  • Giving “original” footage to client?

I suppose this may be a broader digital question, but I’m wondering if anyone has any advice for handing over camera original footage to a client that was shot on an XF100. Obviously, way back, you’d just hand over the tapes and I suppose if your camera shoots in a more common format, you could hand over cards, but with Canon’s XF codec, is the only way to give the client something they could actually use to either:

    1. Give them the CF cards and tell them to get a copy of a convertor?

    2. Put all the footage into fcp and output quicktime?

    3. Something else?

Thanks, and sorry if this is obvious and I’ve missed it, but I have several hours of footage I want to hand over to a client and get out of my system.
