    Dear Forumers,

I have a request to provide a dubbing house with 1080i files from which they will make all derivative versions. Could someone tell me what frame rate is standard? Maybe there’s mutliple possiblities here? Also what is the field dominance? Can this be exported from AE? Any else I should know? Info laden links?

    Many Thanks, as always

You might call the dub house and ask for clarification. 1080i could be 25 fps or 29.97 fps, depending on where you intend to deliver. HD formats are nearly always upper field first. While you’re on the phone with them, you should find out what file format, video codec, audio codec, and audio sampling rate they are expecting.

You set the field order in render settings in your render queue.
