  Canon XF300 odd noise on startup

  Hey guys –

  I’ve recently picked up a used Canon XF300 and I believe there is an irregular shudder sound coming from the lens assembly on start up.

  I’ve uploaded a sound file (recorded using iPhone built in Voice Memo app), which I have linked to this post.

  The seller informs me this sound is normal, however, I’m having difficulty verifying this on my own as there are no display or even rental models available anywhere in NYC.

  Can any XF300 users or owners confirm by having a listen?
