  Canon 305, MXFs and compatible transcription software

  Hi,

  I am currently working on a documentary project and have been trying to find transcription software that will read the camera original files from the Canon 305.

  At this stage we are using Canon’s XF Utility to view the MXFs, but are hoping for a better solution to the transcription process.

  It is important that the time-code is recorded properly in the documentation as the material will be AMA linked into Avid for the edit.

  Any solutions or suggestions of transcription software that reads MXFs would be greatly appreciated.
