  Live Streaming with a Canon Camera

  Hi, I have been trying to live stream events with my Canon ZR 900 and can’t seem to get it to work. At my last event I had to use a webcam and because there is no zoom option I just can’t use a webcam to live stream anymore.

  I’m using a firewire cable and a macbook pro to hook up the camera. I was recently told by a Canon representative that Canon’s don’t live stream. Is this true? Do I need a different kind of Canon or a different camera altogether. If I need a different kind, do you have any suggestions?

  It has been difficult to find info on the right camera to live stream with and I am desperate for a point in the right direction! Price range is $200-$500 for one camera.

  Any help would be wonderful! Thank you in advance!
