  Canon XL2 Viewfinder problem

  I’ve had my Canon XL 2 for close to two years now, and I have used it fairly often. When I turned it on today, I didn’t get an image in my view finder. The camera itself turns on as can be seen on the mini DV information thing. The only thing that happens on the viewfinder is the light for gain turns on. I’ve replaced the three volt battery, and I’ve switched out the other battery.

  I don’t know what to do, does anyone have any suggestions?
