    Hello,

I’ve been shooting on DSLR for a short while now, and I’ve been getting the money together to buy a 70-200mm, but I’m worried about image stabilization. Can someone explain to me what it means to have three stops of image stabilization as is found on some Canon and Nikkor lenses?

    Thanks,
    Walk

The stops of image stabilization refer to how many times faster you would have to increase the shutter speed to remove the artifacts that a unstabilized lense could have.
