So, I have been capturing with the XH-A1 in FCP for a few years now. I have always captured with the Apple ProRes 422 format. For some reason, it will no longer allow me to capture in that format. It says that the device control and capture preset must both be HDV. So, I set the capture preset to HDV and it allows me to capture the material in HDV format.

This would be fine and dandy if I was only using this camera, but I use multiple cameras and need them all to be Apple ProRes in order to make multiclips. It is a huge pain to go back and convert all my HDV files to Apple ProRes after the capture. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem? Thanks for your help.
