  How can I use my GL1 as webcam for Skype?

  HI,
  I want to use my GL1 DV cam for skype since I want it tripod mounted with movement (I don’t own a webcam).
  I hooked it up via firewire, but my G5 Mac (OS 10.5.8) doesn’t recognize it in the profiler (“unknown device”). However, if I try iChat, it opens the video screen easily.
  I want to use it for Skype, which doesn’t recognize it.
  Any ideas?
