    Hey all,

My company is in the market for a new camera and if I can talk them up to $4K, I’ll be pretty lucky. I have used the XH-A1 quite a bit and had great success, good camera. I am, however, enticed by the idea to shoot full HD and especially to go tapeless. The AX2000 appears to be the only one that comes close (I would prefer the NXU cams, but after purchasing extra memory sticks and batters it will certainly push me out). But I know I’m going to sacrifice lense quality/build, etc with the AX.

I edit in FCP. We do a lot of marketing and some advertising. Lot’s of interview shoots and various broll shots including lots of facility tours and so on.

I will also post this in a Sony forum. Thanks for your advice, much appreciated!

    Jeff
