  Canon HV20 to FCP 6.0.6

  Hi, My name is Justin. Im trying to import HDV footage from a Canon HV20 into FCP 6.0.6 I have the easy set up set to 1080i HDV all rates. No matter what I change about this it won’t recognize the device. When I set it to Apple intermediate Codec, it will capture now but the files are HUGE!! Also it just starts capturing, there is no log window.

  Please help, I’ve read a bunch of the forums and still no luck.

  I figured it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Open using rosetta was checked in the “get info” of my Application.

  after changing this, everything was better.
