  Menu items in pink

  In trying to change the video dimensions in my GL 2 to 16:9 in the camera set-up menu, several items (Movie Mode, Image S.,AE shift and 16:9) appeared in pink and were impossible to activate. When I tried to select them they only made a feeble beep sound.

  Your camera has been set to full auto. Slide the switch back to program mode and you’ll be able to access your menu items again. The switch is located on the left side at the back under the AUDIO REC LEVEL switch.
