As a neophyte with my Cannon XHA1 can anyone help me understand what format etc I’m capturing my shots in. Menu says Drop frame; SD 16:9; Frame rate 60i; 1080/60i.
This means I capturing in 60 frames per minute and NOT 24 FPS ETC.

Also if I shooting SD 60i what would my FCP presets be?

    Thanks in advance.

    Neophyte……

[ian blatchford] “Menu says Drop frame; SD 16:9; Frame rate 60i; 1080/60i. “

That’s 60 FIELDS (30 FRAMES) per second, interlaced.
