  XL-H1 and Sony DSR40

  In the coming weeks I will be purchasing the XL-H1 and shooting SD (at least to start). My question is this; I’ve heard and read that shooting with Sony Mini DVCAM tapes in other brands of cameras and then play back and digitizing in Sony decks will cause problems. More specifically the Sony DSR40 which is what I’m using.

  Obviously if this is going to be a problem than I’ll have to look at a different camera.
