  Canon HG10 and iMac

  I’m considering buy my first mac w/ these specs:

  3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
  4GB 800MHz DDR2 SDRAM – 2x2GB
  750GB Serial ATA Drive
  NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS w/512MB GDDR3
  Apple wireless Mighty Mouse
  Apple Wireless Keyboard (English) + User’s Guide
  iWork ’09 preinstalled
  Final Cut Express preinstalled

  Will I be able to use this system to edit my footage from my Canon HG10 camcorder w/ Final Cut Express?

  You need FCP exprss 4. It will read HG10. I have friend who use it.
