  Onboard / External Mic combo?

  Does anyone know if it is possible, on an HX-A1, to record one channel of audio as the onboard microphone, and the second channel from a boom, lav, what have you?

  This doesn’t seem to be the case; but I’d be overjoyed were I wrong.

  No, it’s not possible. When the XLR inputs are activated via the menu, the onboard stereo mic is de-activated.
