  ZR85

  Is there some special trick to capturing video from a Canon ZR85? I have tried several different computers and cables, but nothing works. Other cameras work with the same computers and cables, but not my ZR85.

  Thinking back I don’t remember every once capturing video with this 4 year old camera. Is there some special setting or has anyone else had a problem with the ZR85. Maybe no one else bought one since they knew about it in advance….

  This is my second (and probably last) bad experience with a Canon product. It’s such a shame since Canon has such experience and a good reputation.

  Well I guess that’s a big no.

  Which means there must be something wrong with it.

  I’ve tried it using different cables with different computers and then other cameras as verification. Everything else works, but not my ZR85.

  Oh well, that’s about it for me and Canon.
