  • How to edit HF100 footage without recompression.?

Posted by Andrey Baranovsky on August 11, 2008 at 8:50 am

    Hi,

I would like to edit my HF100 footage (glue clips together, add transitions, etc..
and render the result into exactly the same format that the camera shot in.

I want to do it in such a way, that the UNEDITED VIDEO WOULDN’T BE RECOMPRESSED!
The output should be playable by the camera….

Any idea which editing software can help me with this?

    Thanks,
    Andrey.

I believe this is not possible on a Mac- not yet anyways- you’ll need NLE software that edits AVCHD natively- which are a few on the PC side.
