  • Any problems with the XH A1 and SD?

    Hello.

Sitting here waiting for an answer to an earlier question I’ve been reading other posts. In one one person talks of having read of some problems occurring when using the XH A1 to shoot in SD. Does anyone know about such problems? Does anyone know of any articles written on using the XH A1 in this mode?

    Thanks once more.

    John

I always shoot HD and then have the camera down convert to SD during capture. Looks great. Why not capture the best quality image? You may want it at a later date. Only reason I can think of for shooting SD would be if you had something with a lot of fine detail in motion that would overwhelm the HDV codec.
