CBS O&O Graphic
I’m an Italian student. We are doing a school newscast and we love the new CBS O&O News graphic package.
How can we obtain the same “glass effect” that is used for the CBS logo in this package?
If you have never seen this graphic you can search on youtube video likes “(1080 HD) KYW – 2010 – New CBS O&O Graphics”

AVP.S. I have the logo of our tv station in *.ai and in *.ttf file format

You need Zaxwerks Invigorator for that in AE, or a different 3D ap to model and animate the logo and then bring it in AE with Alpha.
As far as the “glassy” look, it’s just a matter of playing with the compositing modes and layer transparency.

I haven’t Zaxwerks Invigorator, I have Cinema 4D.
Can I use it to create the 3d logo? -
sure- C4D works great with AE
