  Trouble connecting my ZR65 DV to my Mac’s IMovie

  I’m trying to get my Canon ZR65 mini DV to transfer the movies to my mac. The pics work, however, and I can easily import them via iPhoto.

  Do I have a software problem? I’m using a brand new macbook and don’t have any extra video software.
  I’ve been trying to use the copy tape to disk but that isn’t working either.

  I’m not very up to date on camcorders and even worse about macs. Please help.

  I am having the same trouble. I am using a Canon ZR65 MC digital video camcorder and iMovie ’08.

  The Import window comes up, and you can view all the video, even clicking IMPORT allows all the video to be played, as I believe is normal, but when the import is complete, I cannot find the video anywhere. Not under any projects, not any folder that I’ve supposedly saved it to (I’ve tried several different folders and hard drives).

  Best I’ve been able to find is some .dv files, but they don’t seem to have any video.

  Any help would be appreciated.
