GL-2 vs. HV10 image quality
I’ve had a Canon Gl-2 since it’s release a few years ago and it’s served me well. However with all the new HDV cameras I don’t see a reason to shoot mini DV anymore. My GL-2 is pretty beat up and needs a new zoom motor. I also don’t have a ton cash to spend on a new camera so the new HV10 looks decent, although I know it’s missing many of the professional features I’m used to. Basically what I’m wondering is does this single chip HDV camera hold up image wise to the GL-2, or is it just a camera with more pixels and poor image quality and not worth even considering over getting my GL-2 fixed?
