  • Keeping lens clean while shooting

I video car drifting events with my XL2 and recently found a problem. While I am on the track filming, the debris from the tire smoke particles and dirt on the ground flies up onto my lens (I have a UV filter protecting it).

In my recent reviewing on my footage, there were a few good shots that speckles on the lens of tire bits pretty much ruined them. Is there any way that I could help prevent the lens getting dirty so often? Or a better way to clean off the lens? I figured I’d post my question here since I cannot figure anything out.

    thanks
