I’ve noticed that, in fairly low light that the video taken by my new GL2 is visibly darker at the corners of the image and the effect takes hold fairly quickly as you approach the corners.

I’ve seen this on easy mode and manual exposure, indoors in a room lit by a couple lamps in the corner and outdoors taping a nighttime high school football game under lights.

Should I be taking off the lens hood more of the time and risk glare?
Is this a defect I need to get fixed or is it just a weakness of the GL2?

Does removing the lens hood fix the problem?

If it does, then, of course do it.
