  camera does not get print to video

  Hi, I’m trying to get a project onto tape on my GL2, am using the print to video command in version 4.5, Final Cut is telling the camera to roll the tape, the LCD monitor says the camera is recording, but no imgage or sound is reaching the camera. ?

  Make sure your GL2 is in Play (VCR) mode and not Camera mode. Then open the door on the handle where the tape transport controls are located. Press the Record-Pause button and then press the Play button. Whatever you send down the firewire cable or the RCA inputs will now be recorded to tape.
